Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
Sonic Desktop does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data.
Audio and Screen Permission
Sonic Desktop uses macOS Screen Recording permission solely to receive system-audio sample buffers for the Live Audio feature. It does not register or process screen or video frames, screenshots, window content, text, or microphone audio. System-audio buffers exclude audio generated by Sonic Desktop and are processed in memory only to calculate energy, bass, brightness, and beat values that animate the visual. Raw audio and screen data are not written to files, databases, Application Support, or a server. Sonic Desktop does not sell, share, or disclose screen-recording or system-audio data to third parties. Users can stop Live Audio or revoke Screen Recording permission in macOS System Settings.
Personal Image Scenes
If you choose a still image for AI Motion Photo, it is analysed entirely on your device and rendered in real time from local audio features. The image, optional foreground mask, and scene recipe remain on your device; no image is uploaded. System Audio permission is only used to capture audio and is unrelated to image analysis.
App Data
The app stores local preferences, such as selected visual settings, on your Mac. These settings are not transmitted to GoosePod.
Analytics and Tracking
Sonic Desktop does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
